Description

Snickers bar meets smoothie bowl! This rich, creamy, and smooth Snickers Smoothie Bowl is the perfect healthy indulgence when you are craving something sweet. It tastes like both soft serve ice cream and a Snickers bar, but it is made with wholesome ingredients. You don’t want to miss this vegan & gluten-free smoothie bowl!


Ingredients

Always opt for organic ingredients.

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup frozen cauliflower rice
  • 2 pitted Medjool dates
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 2 tsp cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seeds
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened non-dairy milk

Optional toppings

  • Crushed peanuts
  • Melted dark chocolate

Instructions

  1. Add: To begin, add the non-dairy milk, ground flax seeds, cacao powder, peanut butter, frozen banana, Medjool dates, and frozen cauliflower rice, in a high-speed blender.
  2. Blend: Starting on a low speed, use a tamper to help ingredients blend. Pausing & scraping down sides of the blender as needed. If necessary, add additional non-dairy milk in 1/4 cup increments, until a thick, smooth texture is achieved.
  3. Serve: Then, transfer your creamy smoothie to a chilled bowl. Garnish with crushed peanuts and a drizzle of melted dark chocolate, if desired. Enjoy!



Notes

  • Be sure to use a frozen banana and frozen cherries to achieve a thick consistency.
  • Start with a little liquid as possible, and add more only as needed. You can always add more, but once you add too much, you can’t go back! Pausing in between blending to scrape down sides helps as well.
  • Use a high-speed blender, with a tamper, to ensure that your smoothie bowl achieves a thick and creamy texture.
  • Place your serving bowl in the freezer before you begin preparing this recipe and remove it when smoothie is ready. This will ensure that your smoothie bowl stays cold as you enjoy it.
